Terrific that you're writing this up, as Circulars was clearly the right kind of model for that kind of action, whatever you end up calling it. For what it's worth, the "site" of activity seems more important to me than the "poetics" (or anti-poetics) of it. Implicit poetics or no, the site as flexible resource, point of return in some ways, launch point, as news source and even "warm hearth" for those (like me) reading and writing about the war as it developed and feeling somewhat out in the cold with regard to fellow writers/poets, that draw and currency of the site kept me locked in. I applaud the effort to theorize a poetics that takes those elements of the site (anti, non, or unmarked) into account but hope all the same that the work the site did as real-time presence, as organization, as a kind web-street theater, isn't overlooked in the effort to find or highlight a poetics. Action as interaction, maybe, even if virtual; perhaps more sociology than poetics.

Anyway, glad I caught this, and nice to see things develop as the paragraphs come in.

Let's take a moment to reexamine that. What we've done here is create two variables. The first variable is in the Heap, and we're storing data in it. That's the obvious one.
