Hairless Cat

... it looks, though, like it does have *some* hair. And those stripes ... I've never seen a pic of a hairless cat with stripes like that. Skin stripes?

Yes, you're right -- according to the site I got this from, this cat -- more properly a "kitten" -- will lose the rest of its hair within a couple of weeks.

The real hairless cats -- the breed is called a "sphinx" but has nothing to do with Egypt (I think the first one was born in Toronto) -- are pretty scary looking.

But, indeed, the coloration of their hair (were there to be hair) is patterned on the coloration of their skin. So, yes, when this cat loses the rest of its hair, it will probably have striped skin.
